Hearing Aids
Hearing Aid Repairs
Only hearing aid manufacturers that use the latest digital technology and have a proven track record are used to provide the best and most natural sound quality. Their high quality standards of manufacture help ensure maximum physical comfort and fit.
Fully Integrated automatic features such as wide dynamic range compression, noise management and directionality with multiple channels allow individually tailoured responses for your specific speech processing needs.
Repairs to all hearing aid types and manufacturers are undertaken where possible. A minimum charge of £149 is required for hearing aids over 3 years old and where a re-impression and full re-build is required a charge of £299 is the minimum.
All repairs of hearing aids under 3 years old are usually guaranteed for a year and those repairs on hearing aids over 3 years old are guaranteed for six months.
Wax Removal
Wax removal, aural care and advice is available. Gentle aural irrigation, micro-suction or otological clinical removal can be done both at the clinic or in the comfort of your own home.
Charges start from £85 with onward referral direct to an ENT surgeon being possible if required.
Tinnitus Management
A full range of tinnitus assessment and management is available. This means that not only are specifically tuned white noise generators and sound enrichment technologies available, but also management techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Tinnitus Retraining Therapy, Relaxation Therapy and other integrated holistic counselling approaches.
All tinnitus management is indvidually tailoured to your specific needs.
Ear Protection
Customised swim plugs are available for people needing to protect their ears from water.
We offer a wide range of noise protection including specialised ear plugs for a multitude of noisy jobs and hobbies including professional and recreational shooting, musicians and singers noise protection.
In addition we also offer ear plugs for iphones and monitor plugs for musicians and singers.
Diagnostic Audiology
A full range of audiological diagnostic tests are available upon request. These range from basic to complex and include medico-legal testing.
A comprehensive written report is also available as required.
Professional consultation and advice is always offered following detailed diagnostic testing.
